WaterFirst adopts the nationally recognised Waterwize Code of Practice for the hygiene and sanitisation of drinking water coolers. The WaterWize programme ensures that every WaterFirst customer can be 100% confident in the quality of their drinking water and the hygiene of their system. The programme includes –
- Scheduled servicing of all machines on a regular basis.
- Filters are replaced and disposed of.
- Thorough internal sanitation of basin and tap internals with food-grade sterilant.
- External cabinet cleansed and sanitised with food-grade sterilant.
- Spill tray and cup holder cleansed and sanitised.
- Both taps cleansed and sanitised.
- Complete service history documented and electronically recorded.
